Trade Fair

Can all TY enterprise students make sure they are organised for the trade fair. Applications should be filled in and 10euro paid to Mr Davis. You should make sure your products are ready, your stand is well thought out and your business plan is up to date. Read over your research findings, what price should you charge? Who will your target market be? What will your costs be?

Tug of War

Can you check with your PE teachers re teams for tug of War please. It's 6 boys, girls, or mixed per team, with a few subs allowed. There will be one bus travelling to the Blitz so roughly 50 students. Please get practice this week during PE as the blitz is Wednesday week. You need to let your work experience know this week if you are going to the blitz next week.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help out at the musical this week and a massive well done to everyone who took part. Please remember to fill in the volunteer/extra activities log.

The aim of the SkillsBuild Challenge is to promote self-directed learning through the use of technology. This will be achieved through the completion of selected IBM SkillsBuild Badges and activities. We want to introduce Post Primary students to various emerging industries and present to them the potential third level and career opportunities available.

Enjee Fit

Nicole is coming to speak to the girls in TY tomorrow at 11.15. Can the TY girls please make their way to the assembly hall after break. Thank you.

TY Newspaper

Copies of last year's online paper have been added to the newspaper classroom. Can the students involved please check with Vicky in the library regarding a time you could meet with her and discuss getting an issue together for Christmas.

Open Day/Night

We always showcase TY at the open day/night so I am looking for students ideas on what we could show the 6th class and their parents. It would be great if a couple of your mini businesses were ready to sell and could set up on the night. Any thoughts, let me know, thanks.

Can everyone get their chromebooks now and work on their google site, adding a section for the Ireland trip. Write about what you did on the day and add some photos. Remember to keep your ticket for your TY end of year display.
