TY News Bulletin 21

Dear Parent,

Thank you for your continued support of the TY Programme. Students could not embrace all of the activities, projects and competitions without your commitment to the programme.

I have attached the updated version of the end of year deadlines, exam information, activities & assessments. This is going to be a busy few weeks. Please continue to encourage your son/daughter to finish on a positive note. They should have lots of things to be working on at home and there are an array of things happening in school. All of the required work is outlined for them and can be uploaded in their google classroom.

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you now to the TY graduation on 25th of May at 6pm in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel. There will be presentations and performances from students on the night, as well as the presentation of awards. This year students have asked to have a meal and disco after the presentation. It is by no means a ball! I have asked students to go to no extra expense other than the €25 to pay for the meal and disco. Students should dress smartly, hopefully they have something already that they can wear........ students do not require your presence at this part of the night , which will begin after the presentations at 7.30pm. Students should be collected again at 11pm. Please see the attached invite.

Students will have a final year trip on May 16th to Tullagh Equestrian centre, they will take part in beach games, a mud run, team building activities and have a BBQ before they return to school. A change of clothes will be required. The cost of this trip will be €22 and can be paid online or at the office now.

Work Experience will finish on the 17th of May for most students as we will be preparing for graduation on the 24th. Students need to have their work experience report from their employer filled and returned before they finish.

Hopefully we will see you all at the graduation. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

Kind regards
