Competitions
1.The Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI) have again this year launched a €3,000 Computers for Schools Competition.
The competition will run from April 17th until May 15th.
The objective of the competition is to raise awareness around the benefits of apprenticeships in the motor industry and how students can obtain an apprenticeship.
Last year’s competition was a great success with more than 1200 entries received. The winning schools were Coláiste Bhaile Chláir (Galway), Monaghan Collegiate School (Monaghan) and Fingal Community College (Dublin).
To enter this year’s competition, students simply have to answer a series of questions based on two short videos. Entries can be submitted at the following link: https://www.simi.ie/en/schools-competition
Three winners of the competition will be selected, each receiving a set of Beat Studio Buds worth €150 and a €1,000 computer equipment voucher for their school.
- www.graduate.ie - Enter this competition for a chance to win a trip to Brussels.
Please enter the above competitions now and then work on your e-portfolio.
