Uniform
TY uniform has been slipping and has gotten worse recently. This should not be the case as students all have the Scoil Mhuire sweatshirt. Remember your proper school uniform and coat every day except Tuesday when you have PE. Then its your TY sweatshirt and dark bottoms, no alternatives please.
Work experience
Going through the TY forms for work experience there are still a number of forms that haven’t been handed in. Make sure you have yours in by Tuesday as we will be starting to call employers. You should also have your details filled into the google sheet.
TY Work Experience Session 2 2022
Fees
35 euro is due from the students who are going on Ms Gorneys Trip and 50 euro is due from the students going on Ms McCaffertys Careers trip. Please pay online or in the office as soon as possible.
Sign Language
The sign language instructor can come Monday or Friday. It's usually the last class running into after school or all after school. Let me know which suits you all best. Send me an email. I will try and suit the majority.
RCSI Minimed
Well done to the students who completed this programme last week. The feedback has been very good. I hope you enjoyed it.
Self Defence
For PE on Tuesday all girls will begin self defence classes in the hall from 2pm until 4pm. The following week the boys will get their chance. PE as normal for students not taking part in the self defence classes. (boys have PE when girls in class and visa versa)
Donegal Garda Youth Awards
We can nominate students or a group of students for the above awards. Anyone who has gone above and beyond for their community. If you can think of a group or individual within our school community who deserves to be nominated for these awards please email and let us know.
