TY Admin - 6th March
Right quick run through this morning. It’s going to be a busy one again.
Belfast Trip - 22nd and 23rd March
There are eight students who have said they want to go on this but haven’t paid anything yet. Hopefully they pay today and we can finalise rooms. The remainder of the hotel has to be paid on Wednesday 8th so I need everyone to pay the balance tomorrow or Wednesday please. There will be no opportunity to get your money returned once the hotel is paid.
All monies need to be paid by Wednesday please. 62 euro in total.

GAA volunteering
Buncrana GAA are coming into Maths classes today to speak to students about getting involved in their local GAA club ( Muff and Burt on board also). They are involved in educational programmes as well as matches and training, so listen to what they have to say as you don’t have to be sporty. Buncrana GAA are also interested in getting students to video matches for them.
Remember every TY student has to complete the Gaisce Award so this might help some of you with your hours.
One hr - Physical Activity
One hr - New Skill
One Hr - Community Involvement.
Young Whistlers Course is an introductory GAA referee program that we will be offering in school as well as the level one coaching and child protection. This will be subject to us getting the minimum numbers. All these courses are good for the CV and also when looking at work or courses that involve you working with young people. Please add your name to the google classroom post regarding this.
FAI
Students can also be given the opportunity to do the level one coaching course in school for soccer. Please let me know if you are interested by adding your name to the google classroom. Courses like these can give you the opportunity to work in the FAI and GAA summer camps.
