Scoil Mhuire’s Got Talent

Calling all TY students. Ms Grant is looking for acts for this show. Please let me know if you would like to take part. Can the stage pass students please get a practice session this week for this.

GAA

So folks, we are trying to set you up with some coaching courses and volunteering that will add to your CV, work for Gaisce and John Paul, help you in your future careers, and possibly make you a few euros.

We will start with the young Whistlers introduction to refereeing course next Monday 27th March. This is a great opportunity. All future leaders' students will complete this course. If anyone else is interested please add your name to the google sheet.

As many of you as possible should also sign up to do the introductory GAA coaching course. This will be accompanied by a child protection course. Also great for the CV, hoping to run the coaching course after Easter, numbers depending. Names for upcoming Activities

Sign Language

This course will be starting the Thursday after Easter for 5 weeks. There will be a small cost involved.

Subject Choice

Reminder to students to take time to consider their choice of subjects for next year. Please refer to the information in the Senior Cycle subject choice and seek advice from your teachers and the careers department.

Spreadsheet Exam

Can 4B please come to the 3rd floor computer room for the last two classes today to complete your exam.

Rotating Subjects

These subjects will changeover at the end of this week. Please make sure you finish up all assignments. You will be assessed by your teachers on your work.

Chromebooks & School bags

Please do not use another student's chromebook. Let us know if yours is missing. All names have been added to them which should help with identifying each student more readily. On a separate issue, a no bag policy seems to have crept in, particularly among the TY boys. There is no such policy! All students should have a school bag with copies, pens, diary etc to school everyday and to each class.

Take time now to check your emails, work on assignments, date your diary and fill in any volunteering in the log.
